Tool Tickets Information

Tool is Maynard James Keenan on vocals, Adam Jones on guitar, Danny Carey on drums, and Justin Chancellor on bass. Before achieving headliner status all on their own, Tool opened for the likes of Fishbone, Green Jello, Rage Against the Machine, the Rollins Band, and Primus. Since 1992, Tool have released 6 albums - "Opiate", "Undertow", "AEnima", "Salival", "Lateralus", and in a true stroke of "better late than never", their most recent album, coming to us 5 years after their previous, 10,000 Days.

This latest Tool outing sold over 500,000 copies in its debut week and garnered the #1 spot on Billboard's Top 100 chart. The 7-minute first single off the album, "Vicarious", debuted at #2 and earned the band a Grammy Awards nomination for Best Hard Rock Performance. Also a major hit from the new album is "The Pot", the first for Tool to hit #1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart. A third single from the album, "Jambi" was released in February of 2007, and features Adam Jones using a talk box (a la Peter Frampton) in the bridge.

One of the other unique features of the band that makes them stand out from their peers is their music videos, most of which employ stop-motion animation, including those for the songs "Hush", "Sober", "Prison Sex", "Stinkfist", "Aenema", "Schism", and "Parabola".

The new Tool tour has already been underway and is set to continue until August 22 at Pomona Fairgorunds, California, With support from their opening band Tweak Bird, Tool kicked off their tour on July 18th in Denver, Colorado.

Tool has so inspired music aficionados of all calibers that not 1 but 2 Tool tributes have already been released, Third Eye Open: The String Quartet Tribute to Tool and its follow-up Metamorphic: The String Tribute to Tool Volume 2.

Truly, this band's audience is bigger and more eclectic than anybody realizes. So if you want to see Tool live, make sure that you buy your Tool tickets now. You'll have a transcendent good time!
