Reba McEntyre Tickets Information

Sweet and gregarious with a bevy of pop-colored country tunes, Reba McEntyre is an Oklahoma-born granddaughter of a sharecropper and daughter of a cattle rancher and rodeo performer. Raised on her family’s 7,000 acre ranch, she joined her parents as they toured the rodeo circuit eventually performing there and even sometimes riding.

Her first singing act was a family group act called “The Singing McEntyres” who released a local hit single in 1971 called "The Ballad of John McEntire". While attending Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Reba sang the National Anthem in the 1974 National Rodeo Finals.

Her first single to hit the charts, "I Don’t Want to Be a One-Night Stand", came from her eponymous debut in 1976. Her first top 20 single was 1978’s "Three Sheets in the Wind/I’d Really Love to See You Tonight", tracks performed with Jackie Ward that never appeared on any of her albums.

From there, Reba McEntyre’s career took off, with five singles from her next album, “Out of a Dream,” reaching the Billboard Top 40, including a heart-rending cover of one of her own biggest influences, Patsy Cline’s hit single Sweet Dreams.

Reba McEntyre has her one star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She’s won 76 awards, including Academy of Country Music Awards, People’s Choice Awards, American Music Awards, Billboard Awards, Country Radio Awards, Country Music Association Awards, Music City News Country Awards, and two Grammy Awards, in 1986 for Best Female Country Vocal Performance for Whoever’s in New England and Best Country Vocal Collaboration for Does He Love You (with Linda Davis).

All told, the country music legend has recorded 28 studio albums (including her most recent, 2007’s #1 success “Reba: Duets”), two live albums, 18 compilations, and one tribute/cover album. From these albums, she’s put out 96 singles, including 22 that went to #1. She’s also put out 10 video albums and 37 music videos.

Five of her albums went gold, six went platinum, two went twice platinum, four went three times platinum, one went four times platinum, and one went five times platinum, notching over 55 million in sales over the course of her career.

Reba McEntyre is an eclectic talent with appearances in film, TV (including her 7-year sitcom “Reba”), and even the Broadway stage (in Irving Berlin’s “Annie Get Your Gun”).

Reba McEntyre’s current tour 2009 is hitting the state on September 25 at the Niagara Falls Casino in Niagara Falls, ON.
