Nickelback Tickets Information

Nickelback is Chad Kroeger on lead vocals and guitar, his brother Mike Kroeger on bass, Ryan Peake on guitar and backup vocals, and Daniel Adair on drums.

Their debut album, originally self-released in 1996, then rereleased in 2002 by the company that would become their ongoing producer, Roadrunner Records, was Curb. But it’s really The State, released in 2000, that most sources consider the “first” Nickelback album. To date, The State has sold over half-a-million copies in the U.S. and another 100,000 worldwide.

As far as the radio-listening music scene is concerned, Nickelback really launched into superstardom with their next album in 2001, Silver Side Up, which sold over 5 million copies in the U.S. and another 5 million elsewhere throughout the world. Silver Side Up reached number 2 on the U.S. charts and number 1 on U.K. charts, and boasted 3 number one hit singles, including 2002’s Most Played Song “How You Remind Me”, as well as “Never Again”, and “Too Bad”.

The Long Road followed, going triple-platinum fast and giving Nickelback fans the hits “Figured You Out”, “Feelin’ Way Too Damn Good” and “Someday”.

Their next album Dark Horse, features the hits “Something in Your Mouth”, “Burn It to the Ground”, “I'd Come for You"”, “If Today Was Your Last Day”, and “Gotta Be Somebody” – most (if not all) of which you can look forward to hearing on the latest Nickelback tour.

Nickelback has won 3 out of the 5 Billboard Awards for which they were nominated, 12 out of 26 Juno Awards they were nominated for, a World Music Award (for “Best-Selling Rock Artist”), an MTV Video Music Award (for “Hero”), and received 5 Grammy Awards nominations.

The band has several top-notch acts opening for them including, most notably hardcore rockers Staind and American Idol: Season 5 fourth place finisher and frequent Billboard charts’ number 1 bestselling artist Daughtry, aka Chris Daughtry and his band. Also joining them on select shows are Puddle of Mudd, Hedley, Finger Eleven, and Buck Cherry.

The 2009 Dark Horse Tour July 10 at Darien Lake, New York and is slated to hit more amphitheaters throughout the U.S. and Canada, running through November 21 at Burswood Dome in Perth, Australia.

Nickelback has made hockey fans, Nickelback fans, by having their cover of Elton John’s “Saturday Night’s All Right for Fightin’” featuring Kid Rock playing at the start of every Saturday Night Hockey Night in their native Canada.

With fans that include NHL goalies Cam Ward and Jamie McLennan, guitarist Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top and Vinnie Paul and Dimebag Darrell Abbott (deceased), formerly of Pantera, Nickelback concerts are always hot, so get your Nickelback tickets while you still can.
