Marco Antonio Solis Tickets Information

While with Los Bukis, Marco Antonio Solis was not only lead singer, but lead songwriter as well, finding time somehow to produce big name Latin American stars Rocio Durcal, Maria Sorte, and Marisela. Solis spent 20 years with bandmates Eusebio “El Chivo” Cortes, Pedro Sanchez, Roberto Guadarrama, Jose Gadarrama, and of course brother Joel, taking the Latin American musical scene by storm.

During that time, they delivered crowds such Billboard Latin Top 10 pleasers as "Tu Carcel", "Este Adios", "Tus Mentiras", "El Celoso", "Acepto Mi Derrota", and #1 hits "Y Ahora Te Vas", "Como Fui A Enamorarme De Ti", "Mi Deseo", and "Mi Mayor Necesidad".

Finally, in 1996, Marco Antonio Solis left Los Bukis behind to go solo, and the band promptly changed its name to Los Mismos. Making a smooth and seamless transition from group act to solo act, Solis remained a bright star in Latino music’s eye, notching up more than 30 more Hot Latin Tracks charting hits including, from his very first solo release, “En Pieno Vuelo” alone, "Mi Ultima Adios", "O Soy", "o Fui", "Recuerdos Tristeza y Soledad", "Que Pena Me Das", and "Asi Como Te Conoci"—all top five hits, the latter three reaching #1.

Four of his next five studio releases – his eponymous second solo studio release, “Trozos De Mi Alma,” “Mas De Mi Alma,” “Tu Amor O Tu Desprecio,” and “Trozos De Mi Alma, Vol 2,” earned him several more #1 hits with "La Venia Bendita", "Si Te Pudiera Mentir", "Si No Te Hubieras Ido", "O Me Voy o Te Vas", "Tu Amor o Tu Desprecio", "Mas Que Tu Amigo", "Antes de Que Te Vayas", and "Ojala".

Leaving Los Bukis, though, did not at all mean that he was to leave his dual role as music producer, adding names like Laura Floris, Olga Tanon, Anais, and even Enrique Iglesias to his list.

Marco Antonio Solis has several U.S. dates coming up on his calendar, including August 21st at the Journal Pavilion in Albuquerque, New Mexico through to October 15th at the HP Pavilion in Sanjose, California.
