Kid Rock Tickets Information

Experimenting with the fusion of rap and rock was how Kid Rock made a niche for himself in the music industry, releasing “Grits Sandwiches for Breakfast.” The album instantly made infamy when its first single "Yo Da Lin in the Valley" was banned by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). He was promptly dropped by his label.

After a second and third release, “The Polyfuze Method” on the “Fire It Up!” EP on a different label that received a mediocre reception but for college stations, Kid Rock decided to start his own label, Top Dog Records, and released “Early Morning Stoned Pimp.” He sold 14,000 copies of the album alone from the trunk of his car.

It was “Devil Without a Cause” that skyrocketed Kid Rock to the top of the charts, #4 to be exact, getting certified eleven times platinum, sales initially weak, but then stimulated by the Kid’s appearance on the Vans Warped Tour. The albums single Bawitdaba, specifically, took him all the way to the top, and kept him there.

With that and his follow-up hits, “The History of Rock,” “Cocky,” “Kid Rock,” and “Live Trucker,” Kid Rock has sold nearly 25 million albums in his career, and the sales keep coming.

Since 1994, Kid’s Rock band has been “Twisted Brown Trucker,” dubbed by Kris Rock as “The Loudest Band in America Today” and currently made up of:

His first worldwide smash hit came off his next, and most recent, album, “Rock N Roll Jesus,” the song All Summer Long, which hit #1 in Europe, Germany, Ireland, Austria, and Switzerland.

The next in Kid Rock’s upcoming line of musical treats includes a take-off of B.B. King and Eric Clapton’s collaboration “Riding with the Kid,” with Run DMC’s Reverend Run called “Running with the Kid,” as well as an appearance on Lil Jon’s next album, “Crunk Rock.” The next studio album for the Kid is promised to be a heralding back to his roots as a hip-hop rap-rocker.

Practically living his life on the road, Kid Rock has performed in 22 tours since 1989, including the 1998 Lollapalooza, and appearing on the same stage with the likes of Limp Bizkit, Staind, Blink-182, Metallica, Sevendust, Creed, Korn, System of a Down, Lit, Fuel, Guns N’ Roses, Tenacious D, Aerosmith, Run DMC, Puddle of Mudd, Gov’t Mule, and Peter Frampton.

The consummate showman’s next appearance is on August 29 at the State Fair Ground in St. Paul, Minnesota and he hits spots throughout the nation up to September 17 at the Pearl in Las Vegas, Nevada.
