Incubus Tickets Information

Based out of the Calabasas, California, Incubus was formed by 15-year-old boyhood skateboarding and surfing buddies Brandon Boyd (lead vocals), Jose Pasillas (drums), and Mike Einziger (guitar) along with a bass player they met up with named Alex Katunich.

The quartet finally decided on the name Incubus after much deliberation after Einziger found it in a Thesaurus. Incubus played numerous parties and small clubs together, often to sold out crowds, all the way to the Sunset Strip, including a “Pay to Play” gig they landed at the Hollywood Roxy when Einziger found a C-note on the sidewalk. Incubus was a regular act at Mancini’s in San Fernando Valley, particularly on their Sunday night, free all-ages party called “Club Engine Sludge”. It was during all this that they released a 3-song demo entitled Closet Cultivation before releasing their debut album Fungus Amongus in 1995.

Since then, Incubus has released five more studio albums, each of which went gold or platinum – "S.C.I.E.N.C.E." (gold), "Make Yourself" (double platinum), "Morning View" (double platinum), "A Crow Left of the Murder…" (platinum), and most recently, "Light Grenades" (platinum) with its instant hit debut single “Anna-Molly”.

They’ve also released two EPs – Enjoy Incubus and When Incubus Attacks Volume 1, and 4 Live albums, including one from Lollapalooza 2003 and 3 from their 2004 international tour – Live in Japan, Live in Sweden, and Live in Malaysia.

Incubuss' latest studio album, Light Grenades, debuted at #1 in 2006 and has received Gold certification in the U.S. Incubus released their first greatest hits album Monuments and Melodies in June 2009, accompanied by a tour of the United States and Canada. In June 2009, Monuments and Melodies opened at #5 on the Billboard Music Charts, this is their 4th album reaching at least #5 on the charts.

When they’re not playing awesome music, Incubus puts attention on their very own charitable non-profit organization – The Make Yourself Foundation. Among the causes the foundation has been focusing on lately are global climate change (and most especially biodiesel as a viable energy alternative) and conflict diamonds.

Joining Brandon Boyd, Mike Einziger, and Jose Pasillas on the current Incubus lineup – and the faces you can look forward to seeing on the 2009 Incubus tour – are Chris Kilmore (keyboards, turntables, sound effects, mellotron, guitar), and Ben Kenney (bass).
