Florida State University Seminoles Tickets Information

Florida State's 17 varsity teams (9 women's, 8 men's), including their NCAA football and men's basketball teams, are called the Seminoles. The Florida State Seminoles football stadium is the 82,000+ capacity Bobby Bowden Field at Doak Campbell Stadium, and its men's basketball arena is the 12,000+ capacity Donald L. Tucker Center. The school colors are garnet and gold.

The Florida State Seminoles, predictably, have bitter in-state rivalries with the Miami Hurricanes and the Florida Gators, decided at least in part each year as of 2002 with the Florida Cup.

Football:

Since joining the league in 1991, the Florida State Seminoles football team has won 12 ACC Championships, their first in 1992 and their last in 2005. They were also the Associated Press National Champions and the Coaches Poll National Champions in 1993 and 1999, as well as the Bowl Championship Series National Champions in 1999. The aforementioned Florida State-Miami rivalry makes even more sense when you consider that the 2 teams are arguably the best in college football.

The Seminoles have seen over 50 of their players go on to the NFL. And 2 former Florida State Seminoles have gone on to receive the Heisman Trophy: Charlie Ward in 1993 and Chris Weinke in 1999.

The simple fact is, this team is so consistently hot that there's no good reason not to get Florida State Seminoles tickets to as many football games as you can make.

Men's Basketball:

The Florida State Seminoles basketball team has yet to win an Atlantic Coast Conference championship, though overall they have a winning all-time record, 976-725 (as of the start of the 2009-10 season).

In 2004 and 2006 veteran head coach Leonard Hamilton led his team to the 2nd round of the National Invitation Tournament (NIT). Before coming to Florida State, Hamilton had head coached at the University of Miami and Oklahoma State, as well as the Washington Wizards of the NBA. Get your Florida State Seminoles tickets today and see what Hamilton can pull out his team this year.
