Based on the famous true-life murder trials in 1924 of starlets Belva Gaertner (Velma) and Beulah Annan (Roxie), the Chicago musical brings the roaring 20's back to life in all its grit and glamour. The names have been changed to protect the innocent (and the guilty), and the tale told with more raw passion and sex appeal than you may think possible, but the tale is a familiar one - "Murder, greed, corruption, violence, exploitation, adultery and treachery--all those things we hold near and dear to our hearts", as the Chicago musical informs us from the start.

Chicago Tickets Information

The story of the Chicago musical is a judicial satire centered on two young murderesses - a starlet and a starlet wannabe, both of whom find themselves imprisoned with a sinful and scintillating assortment of femme fatales and a corrupt and domineering warden named Matron Mama while they await their respective trials. The flighty innocent, Roxie, tries to befriend the callous and jaded Velma and, failing, becomes her nemesis instead. Their problems are made more complicated by the fact that they both have the same self-serving, smooth-talking talking lawyer trying, allegedly, to set them both free.

Currently starring two time Emmy nominee, Samantha Harris as Roxie Hart, who will do anything to be a star, Amra-Faye Wright as Velma Kelly, who will do anything to get out of jail, and Jason Patrick Sands as Billy Flynn, who will do anything to win a case - Chicago tickets are your ticket to the sexiest series of twists and turns that you'll ever see on the open stage.

When Chicago tickets first came to the box office in 1975, it starred Chita Rivera, Gwen Verdon, and a young pre-Law & Order Jerry Orbach. Later Liza Minnelli came on the scene to give the show her own special brand of pizzazz and helped stretch the initial run of the Chicago musical out through 1977.

Fast-forward 20 years to 1997 when the revival of this vaudevillian review with a heart-stopping narrative won 6 Tony Awards, including "Best Actor (James Naughton)", "Best Actress (Bebe Neuwirth)", "Best Director", and "Best Musical Revival". The Chicago musical also won "Best Choreographer" for the nasty and naughty moves that stayed true to the notorious Bob Fosse originals.

The Chicago soundtrack boasts such snappy, steamy, and sultry powerhouse hits as "All That Jazz", "When You're Good to Mama", "I Can't Do It Alone", "Class", and "Razzle Dazzle".

Chicago tickets are currently on sale, and they're selling out fast! Get your Chicago tickets now and prepare to be taken back in time for 2 and a half hours (plus intermission) to a place where the innocent were not so innocent, and the guilty were guiltier than sin.
